Michael Ocilka
Michael Ocilka

Michael Ocilka, CLTC, is a Certified Long-Term Care Education and Planning Specialist and has more than 20 years of combined experience in the insurance and related marketing industries.  Michael works with individuals, employer groups, and associations in providing long-term care (LTC) education, planning options, and claims assistance to people of all ages. He believes that everyone deserves long-term care education and everyone needs to have an LTC plan. And when appropriate, selecting insurance as part of the plan should be an informed decision.

A personal experience with his mother forced him to realize first-hand the impact of caregiving for a loved one and the consequences of not planning properly. Because of this experience, he is now a passionate advocate of the need for LTC outreach, education, and planning.

Michael is co-creator of LTCEPP® (Long-Term Care Education and Planning Program).  LTCEPP® focuses on raising awareness of the need to address and plan for long-term care and the emotional, physical, and financial consequences on those you love the most when you don’t plan.

LTCEPP® outlines the consequences of living a long life and the risks, costs, and impact of LTC, the available options when care is required, and the impact of caregiving. The key question that LTCEPP® prompts you to ask is: “What is my plan to protect my most important asset – my family?”

LTCEPP® is accredited for CEUs through the NASW and CLEs through the Erie and Washington County Bar Associations.

Michael welcomes the opportunity to assist you and your family in one of the most important decisions of your lives.

James Ritchey
James Ritchey
LTCEPP Specialist
(717) 371-2367

Jim, a native of Lancaster, Pa. and a graduate of Lancaster McCaskey H.S., and Bloomsburg University, has been helping families and corporations in the areas of Insurance and Financial Services since 1988.  At the time that his father developed a series of strokes and the responsibility of care fell on the family, Jim discovered just how devastating a long term illness can be on the caregiver(s).  It was during this time that solidified in Jim’s mind the need to specialize in this field.  Jim believes that education is the key to helping families prepare for the potential loss of independence and the emotional, spiritual and financial effect an extended illness can have on a family.   Jim believes that it is important to partner with a family’s existing trusted advisors to help develop solutions to this problem,  some which may involve insurance programs.  Jim and his wife Suzanne have 4 children, and are active in their local homeschool association and church where they serve as youth leaders and serve on the missions team.

John Gibbel
John Gibbel
(717) 538-5060

John’s background includes a unique mix of education, insurance, and long term care experience.  With a BA in Secondary Education & History (Houghton College), he had the rewarding challenge of 2 formative years in the classroom.  In 1995, he secured his insurance licenses and became 4 th generation in family-owned Gibbel Insurance Agency.  (John recognizes that being 4 th generation is not an option unless some courageous & committed people have gone before you—for this he is forever grateful.)  While with Gibbel Insurance, he became certified as a personal coach, a resource that has proven valuable in communication--particularly with regards to discovering the needs and preferences of the clients and families that he serves.

Since 2009, as co-owner of Home Instead Senior Care in Lancaster County, he has had the privilege of hundreds of “kitchen table” conversations with families seeking care solutions for loved ones.  With an authentic passion for people, John is dedicated to finding solutions that align with an individual’s values while genuinely meeting their needs.

John has been married to his wife Laureen, a Registered Nurse turned Interior Designer, for 22 years.  Foster care and adoption has played a part in forming their family of 8.  Legacy is near to his heart.   Together they value being part of the church family of Life Center in Harrisburg.  When not investing vocationally, John values quiet evenings away with Laureen and just about any kind of outdoor adventure with their 4 daughters and 2 sons from canoes to campfires. He is honored to serve on the board of Brethren Village, a long-established not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community as well as the ministry of Love, INC, a non-profit affording church members the opportunity to practically serve and meet the needs of those in their community.

John acknowledges that although life routinely feels complex, solutions can often be simple...and, gratefully, having a well-versed advocate in your corner brings HOPE!

Glorianna Hita-Vargas

Glorianna is a native from Puerto Rico who moved with her family to Maryland in 2006, when her husband received a job offer. In 2010 she moved to York, PA where she currently lives with her husband, her son, and her four legged baby “Coco”. Glorianna comes from a legal background, but she felt she was ready for a change after a work hiatus, and that is how she started in the insurance industry. Being a people’s person, she enjoys the one on one interaction and the fact that she can make a difference in someone’s life. However, it was when she realized there is a lack of bilingual Insurance Counselors and a limited amount of information available in Spanish, that she made one of her priorities to reach out to the Hispanic/Latino community, and make sure they have access to insurance information and get the help they need. Understanding also that the constant changes in our socioeconomic reality present new and more difficult challenges to the average family, she’s passionate about educating people regarding the importance of planning for Long Term Care, not only to protect themselves but also their families.

"La planificacion del Cuidado a Largo Plazo es importante, ya que no tan solo lo protege a usted sino tambien a sus seres queridos. Para mas informacion en Espanol, comuniquese conmigo."
